Breitenbrunn

Breitenbrunn is situated in the upper Ore Mountains between the 1215 m above sea level Fichtelberg and the 1018 m above sea level Auersberg directly on the Saxon-Bohemian border. Surrounded by extensive spruce forests along the state road 273, Breitenbrunn rises from 550 m above sea level in the Schwarzwassertal valley to an altitude of about 950 m in the Halbemeile district.
Local mountains are the Rabenberg 913 m above sea level and the Sauberg 797 m above sea level.
