Celebrate with us the birthday of an extraordinary personality – Princess Franziska Sibylla Augusta, who was born in Ostrov and later had a significant influence on European Baroque history as Margravine of Baden. She was educated, culturally active and her legacy in the fields of art, intellectual life and architecture lives on to this day. The Monastery Festival combines her history with a rich cultural program, live music, baroque atmosphere and fun for the whole family.
You can look forward to a festive procession, concerts, swordsmen, dance performances, a fairy tale for children, guided tours and the inauguration of the newly renovated St. Anna Chapel. There will also be creative workshops, craft and refreshment stands, themed merchandise and an annual stamp.
