Lace is more than just decoration – it is a silent conversation between hands, thread and patience. The regular meetings of lace makers in the Old Town Hall are an island tradition. On two Wednesdays a month, women who share a love of bobbin lace meet here to learn new patterns, share their experiences and prepare joint exhibitions.
The event is open to everyone – whether you are a beginner or an experienced lace maker, you can try your hand at it yourself or simply watch beautiful lace being made. The space is informal, welcoming and inspiring.
