A WEEKEND THAT OPENS DOORS
In over 130 workshops, museums, and clubs throughout the Ore Mountains, the focus is on traditional crafts. It’s a look behind the scenes, an immersion in centuries-old skills. Often hidden, rare, and yet authentic and accessible. Visitors will meet people who pass on their skills with passion and dedication. It’s the small, genuine encounters that make this weekend so special: hands-on activities often even let you get creative yourself and try your hand at different craft techniques. With a selection of regional specialties on offer, there’s plenty to satisfy your appetite as well. Discover the diverse program and find out who’s participating this year!
IMPORTANT:
Please note that not all events take place on both days. Check the opening days for each participant in advance!
PARTICIPATION IS MOSTLY FREE:
Most activities are free of charge. A fee may apply for certain events, such as workshops, expert lectures, or museum visits.
TIP FOR PLANNING:
The events are spread throughout the entire Ore Mountains. To enjoy the variety at a leisurely pace, we recommend focusing on a specific region.
