Pražský výběr – Czech rock band founded in 1976 by keyboardist and singer Michael Kocab. In the second half of the 1970s it was oriented towards jazz rock, which was popular at that time. At the beginning of the 1980s, the group underwent a complete change of style and was one of the most important Czech new wave groups at that time. Between 1983 and 1986, Prague Choice was banned by the regime, and could only return to performing and releasing albums in the second half of the 1980s. After 1989, the group performed rather sporadically, and only after 2000 did they start performing again.
In Ostrov, the band will perform in its original line-up, headed by Michael Kocáb, Michal Pavlíček, Vilém Čok, Klaudius Kryšpín, Jiří Hrubes and the already regular guest DJ Roxtar.
The special guest of the Pražaks is the band Pumpa.
