A lecture about our four-month journey through Central America, full of adventures (the good ones, but also the bad ones).
We travelled through Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. We swam with stingrays and sharks, flew a Cessna over the Blue Hole, climbed to the top of many mountains, tall Mayan pyramids and volcanoes (we rode down one on a bobsled), canoed through a sacrificial Mayan cave, cooled off under many waterfalls, wandered through beautiful jungles, observed beautiful flora and fauna, and tasted many traditional foods. We spent a lot of time in the presence of the locals, from whom we drew information about the area, customs, or even beliefs in order to convey the most interesting insights from these countries.
