Anton Günther (June 5, 1876 – April 29, 1937) was a distinguished folk poet and songwriter of Boží Dar. His work was inspired by beautiful nature and life in the harsh conditions of the Ore Mountains. He died and is buried in the local cemetery in Boží Dar. A memorial monument can be found in a park in the centre of Boží Dar.
